Myths and Legends

The Myths and Legends site has many stories, mostly from England,and there are many things you can do.

You could start with the Myth Map to find stories that come from certain areas.

Find a story and you’ll be able to listen and read along. Click on the auto on/off to make the story continue automatically or stop after each page.

For each story, you also can read the text-only version, see a gallery of images connected to the story, related research work from students (“Your Work”), information about the origin of the stories, and a glossary of relevant words.

Creating your own requires signing up through a teacher, and it’s not free. But you can always create your own using different tools and posting the stories in your portfolios.
