Summer vacation is approaching and many of you will be flying somewhere you’ve never been before. Have you researched how you’re going to get from the airport to you first destination?
Try using To and From the Airport and practice your English at the same time. This website has a list of different forms of public transportation to and from the airports of nearly 3000 airports around the world. There’s a search box, or you can search or browse using the map or an alphabetical list of cities.
Prices are listed, as well as other useful information. For instance, when I looked up the information for Haneda Airport, I found a helpful reminder about the fact that tipping taxis is not customary in Japan.
Although I think this is a very useful resource, it might be a good idea to double check prices for some cities. For instance, the Haneda page was last updated in 2011, and prices rose when the consumption tax rate changed in April of this year.
