Slow English is a series of podcasts, with transcripts, in slowly spoken Australian English, about life in Australia.
For each post, there’s a listening clip, a transcript, photos, key vocabulary explained in English, and a quiz to check your comprehension. It looks like he updates the blog 2 or 3 times a month, and there are currently 34 posts to choose from.
This looks like a great place to learn about Australia and to get used to an Australian accent. It’s also an inspiration for you to try making your own audio/video clips to go with your writing and images in your language learning portfolios. Make your own “Slow English” clips to write about life in Japan!
Here’s the podcast in iTunes (Japan).
