Inanimate Alice is a multimedia, interactive digital novel with 4 episodes. I watched the first one and thought, “This is a heck of a lot better than that government made game I tried earlier.” Well, this isn’t a game, and it isn’t specifically for language learning, but it’s short, visually interesting, and the story is easy to follow and suspenseful.

It’s a great idea, and I hope my students will not only read it, but also use it for inspiration in creating your own language learning portfolios.
And for those of you also learning Italian, French, German, and Spanish, you can read the story in those languages, too.
