Practice typing with a simple site called Keybr. You don’t have to sign up to use it, but if you want to save your score, you can sign up with Facebook or an e-mail address.

You can change the language and keyboard layout:

And you can choose the text source. With the random text, you can choose from 3 levels of difficulty. The only problem with this kind of practice is that sometimes the words are nonsense. And really, what’s the point in typing nonsense?

You can also choose a specific text to practice — just copy and paste something into “Custom Text”.

Or, you can choose a specific website. The default site is the New York Times:

I did have a bit of a hard time with the apostrophe, which is in a different location on my Mac keyboard. But overall, I think it’s a good place to get some typing practice.
