Cowbird

Cowbird is a site with stories. Lots of stories. And poems. And some great photography.

Some of the stories are read aloud, so it’s good for listening practice, too.

You can browse in a variety of ways: the top menu has “Explore”, “Stories”, “Projects”, “Now (their version of “trending”), and “Serendipity”, which has such a nice ring to it, compared to the typical “Random post”.

In order to share your own stories, you need to join. You have two choices: you can join as a citizen or as a nomad. Much more creative than just “free” and “paid”, as it implies a certain amount of responsibility and community feeling.
